A ressurection only slot would be nice since it would make people have no excuse when it comes to not bringing res in unorganized pvp like RA. Though, I think 8 slots is a nice balance.

I used to think that we need 10 slots total and still think once in a while but the nice thing about GW is that it forces you to change your skills depending on area and such.

Uh... just... no. This is the next most asinine idea after increasing the level cap. If you want either of those two changed, you have no idea of what makes this game work.

8 skills is what puts the skill in guildwars and the ability to create new builds.

2 elite is not a good idea too, imagine a Sin has shadow form with some instant recharge Elite. it is a pain for other (I am a Sin so I am credible to say this).
consider that player isn't the only one that will be effacted. imagien a lvl28 foe equiped with 2 elite. how painful is that for us.
the current situation is good enough. 8 slot with 1 elite skill allowed is the best so far

please no.
the point to 8 slots is to have very effective, balanced and condensed builds. this way builds can't have like 8 attack skills, 10 defense, and 5 utility skills.
i'd say keep it the way it is.

Indeed and there are some builds that leaves you with 2 optional slots, such builds were tested and approved by the community. So that makes 8 pretty much perfect and balanced.

I'd unbalance a lot of things.
Mantra of Recovery and Oath Shot would become completely and utterly nuts, Inspiration magic would become better than it has any right to me, and the Warrior's adrenaline mechanic would get insane.

Yeah, I've seen someone play World of Warcraft with his 40 skill skillbar. What did he do, Create strategic masterpieces of unparellelled beauty? Hell, no. He spammed the same skill over and over and over again.
More does not equal better.

8 slots wa a silly idea to begin with. We know all these different skills, but suddenly forget all but 8 of them any time we leave an outpost. Immersion-breaking, pointless, and lazy design from the beginning.
However, it's the way the game has been designed from the beginning, as well. I don't like the limit on skills carried, but changing it now would create far more problems than it would solve. The arbitrary limit is in, and removing it would be worse than having it at this point.
Look at City of heroes/City of Villains for how to carry unlimited skills, or even (and especially) the EQ2 system. No silly limitations on which of your ALREADY LEARNED skills you can carry along. If GW had done this from the beginning, it wouldn't feel so forced (or, as another poster put it, "constant pressure".)

Bah, /nonsigned merely because I like the effect of tension in which skills you bring.
And also people.. learn to spell.

I guess you've never been to The Deep, Fissure of Woe or Underworld, probably because you use an assassin (they never work in those areas). There are enemies that use 2 elite skills wandering around those areas.
Also, to the OP, if you want more than 8 skill slots, go play WoW or something like that.
